The workshop helped me dig into questions I’ve thought about before, but with a deeper more attentive approach. Some questions I hadn’t really asked myself before so at moments I was stuck. Wasan and the others helped unpack the questions so I could answer them. There were also moments where my brain blocked memories and trauma from the past out and once I sat and tried to remember them it triggered a flow of tears. Certain things that were being asked evoked an emotional release from me, I was unable to contain my tears. A lot of suppressed emotions were able to come out. The group was very supportive and made me feel comfortable in the space. Overall it was something I needed to experience and questions I needed to ask myself. A lot is still needed to be done for my personal growth but it got the ball rolling.
